🤑 How To Make $59,384 From Trading

The average salary in the US is $59,384.

You’re reading this because you’re a trader, and that means one of two things:

1. You want to make way more than that.

2. Or you’d prefer to make that while staring at your screen and eating Cheetos (don’t worry, this is a no-judgment zone).

So the question is, how can we accomplish this in 365 days?

Well, the Lark Crew is here to break it down for you.

1/ The First Step

Whenever I have a big goal like owning more Bitcoin than Michael Saylor (😏), I like to break it down into the smallest possible units.

After all, what gets measured gets managed.

So here are the numbers:

• 1 Year Goal = $60,000 USD

• Monthly Goal = $5,000

• Weekly Goal = $1,250

• Daily Goal = $178

• Hourly Goal = Just kidding

For trading, I find it useful to stick to weekly or monthly timeframes.

2/ What Can You Achieve?

Contrary to what your mom might have told you growing up, no, you can’t fly like Superman.

Unfortuneately, we’re all human and that comes with limitations.

While I often think I’m the next Michael Burry or Warren Buffett, my bank account would say otherwise.

So, we need to be realistic regarding what returns we can consistently and realistically achieve in trading.

*warning, gamblers aren’t going to like what I’m about to say*

I don’t think it’s possible to achieve more than a 5% monthly return from trading consistently without overrisking.

That means 5% is the best-case scenario.

I’m conservative, though (sorry, Trudeau supporters 🇨🇦) and unfortunately not very tall, so I like to set the bar low and easily walk over it.

So, let’s aim for a 3% monthly return.

That’s only 0.75%/week.

Now we’re getting somewhere.

3/ Work Backwards

Now that we know our North Star is 3% per month, all we need to do is figure out how much funding we need.

I don’t do math in public, but this is what I’ve got:

• Target Income = $5,000

• Profit Share = 80%

• Monthly Return = 3%

• Your Share of Monthly Return = 0.80×3% = 2.4%

• Capital Required = $208,333.33

Like any good trader, I took the efficient route here and had ChatGPT run this for me. So, if the numbers are wrong, don’t blame me.

But there we have it, boys (and our two female readers).

In order to make the average US salary from trading, you need just over $200,000 in funding.

That number drops to $185,000 if you purchase our 90% profit split.
