๐Ÿ“‰ Record Highs?

#1 Stock to Buy for Elonโ€™s Hidden Empire

Dear Reader,

The SpaceX S-1 has been picked apart by nearly every analyst on Wall Street.

Almost none of them got the real story.

You see, buried inside the filing is what I call Elon's "Hidden Empire."

It has nothing to do with rockets...

But when it's all said and done, it could be worth FAR more than the entire launch business, including everything else inside SpaceX...

And it could completely upend the AI economy.

That's why I went on location at SpaceX's Starbase headquarters to reveal exactly what I believe is โ€“ and the single best stock to own because of it.

It's not Tesla. Or SpaceX...

BREAKING NEWS

๐Ÿ“ˆ The Dow Just Closed At A Record High

Well, that escalated quickly. The Dow Jones closed at an all-time high yesterday, climbing over 53,000 for the first time in history. After a white-knuckle July, August came out swinging and weโ€™ll take it.

The main engine? Oil. As we covered yesterday, Trump called off the Iran strikes over the weekend, and Brent crude fell nearly 5% to about $84. Cheaper oil means less inflation pressure, which means a calmer Fed, which means investors suddenly felt a lot better about owning stocks. The war premium that spooked everyone in July just deflated.

There was a second boost too. A fresh manufacturing report came in at its strongest since 2022, a sign the economy is running hotter than expected. Big Tech did the heavy lifting, with Amazon and the other giants clawing back after last week's earnings.

  • ๐Ÿ›ข๏ธ Oil relief: Falling crude eased the inflation fear that drove July's chaos.

  • ๐Ÿญ Strong economy: Manufacturing hit a multi-year high, calming recession worries.

  • โœˆ๏ธ The rotation played out: Airlines and fuel-hungry names rallied while energy stocks lagged, exactly the flip we flagged yesterday.

The Munch Take: Ten days ago the story was oil spiking, Korea crashing, and a market on edge. Today it's record highs. Nothing about the underlying companies changed that fast. What changed was one weekend headline that pulled the war premium out of oil. That's the whole lesson of this summer in one day: markets don't move on reality alone, they move on the story about reality, and that story can flip overnight. Enjoy the record. Just remember Friday's jobs report can rewrite the mood all over again.

๐Ÿš€ Everything You Need To Know Before SpaceX Reports Today

The moment we've tracked all summer is here. SpaceX ($SPCX) reports earnings today after the close, its first-ever report as a public company. The stock is down about 50% from itโ€™s post-IPO high and is still below its debut price of $150. So itโ€™s safe to say investors are nervous about this one.

The Three Businesses: SpaceX runs on three engines. Space (rockets) is the proven moneymaker. Starlink is the profit driver. But the AI unit has investors buzzing, thanks to reported datacenter deals with Anthropic and Alphabet that could add a lucrative new revenue stream.

What To Watch: Analysts expect a Q2 loss near $0.26 per share, but nobody's really watching earnings. They want Starlink subscriber growth and guidance on those AI deals. This is the first time we get real numbers instead of pure hype.

โš ๏ธ The Real Problem Is Thursday: More important than any figure, the post-IPO lockup starts expiring Thursday, freeing roughly 900 million shares to be sold. After a 50% drop, a flood of early investors cashing out is a serious headwind no matter how good the earnings are.

  • ๐Ÿ’ฐ Bull hope: Strong Starlink growth and firm AI numbers could spark a bounce.

  • ๐Ÿ“‰ Bear reality: Heavy debt, a rich valuation, and record short interest sit on top of that unlock.

  • ๐ŸŒ‘ Can't script it: A SpaceX rocket is literally set to crash into the moon Wednesday, right between earnings and the unlock.

The Munch Take: This is the week SpaceX stops being a story and becomes a spreadsheet, then immediately gets stress-tested. I wouldn't chase the pop or panic the drop before the unlock clears. Let it settle, see where real buyers step in after Thursday, then decide on facts instead of fireworks.

Elon Musk Deploys Next Big Project (Not Space or AI) Ad

Elon Musk is rolling out a breakthrough technology that could replace our need for foreign oil and ignite a $10 trillion boom a small group of stocks.

STOCK OF THE DAY

๐Ÿ“ฆ Amazon Just Joined The $3 Trillion Club

Amazon ($AMZN) crossed $3 trillion in market value for the first time ever yesterday, hitting a record share price of $285. That makes it just the fifth company in history to reach the milestone, joining Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, and Alphabet. The stock is now up about 25% on the year.

This is the payoff to the earnings we covered last week. The engine is AWS, Amazon's cloud arm, now running at a $169 billion annual pace and growing at its fastest clip in over four years. CEO Andy Jassy said the wildest part out loud: even after ramping up spending, "we will still not have enough capacity to meet all the demand" in 2026, and the demand already booked for 2028 is "striking."

๐Ÿ‚ The Bull Case:

  • โ˜๏ธ Cloud on fire: AWS is accelerating, not slowing, and demand is booked years out.

  • ๐Ÿ“ข Ads are booming: The advertising business grew over 20% and is nearing $20 billion a quarter, a high-margin gem.

  • ๐ŸŽฏ Analysts still bullish: Even at $3 trillion, thereโ€™s still more room to run.

  • Special Report: The Starlink of Energy (from Oxford Club)

๐Ÿป The Bear Case:

  • ๐Ÿ’ธ The spending is staggering: Amazon raised capex toward $220 billion, and free cash flow has turned negative.

  • ๐Ÿท๏ธ Priced for perfection: After a 25% run, the stock leaves little margin for a stumble.

  • โšก Can't build fast enough: Being capacity-constrained is a good problem, but it still caps how fast growth can go.

The Munch Take: For most of 2026 investors havenโ€™t been paying attention to Amazon because they werenโ€™t one of the big names in the AI race. Now? Thatโ€™s changing and the company is worth more than the economies of most countries. The entire $3 trillion club runs on the same bet: that spending fortunes on AI today turns into profit tomorrow. So far the market keeps rewarding that bet, and Amazon just proved why with cloud growth nobody saw coming. The question that decides the next leg is simple and unanswered: what happens the first quarter the spending climbs but the growth doesn't? Nobody knows when that quarter comes, or if it does. For now, Amazon gave the bulls everything they wanted.

MARKET OVERVIEW

๐Ÿฟ Tasty Movers & Shakers

โœˆ๏ธ $BA Boeing climbed 8.03% after the FAA finally approved its 737 Max 7, ending years of delays. When the plane maker actually gets a plane certified, the market throws a party.

๐Ÿค– $BABA Alibaba rose 4.09% on the launch of its newest AI model, Qwen3.8-Max, which the company claims goes toe to toe with Anthropic's best.

๐ŸŽฌ $IMAX IMAX jumped 6.67% after its third straight weekend topping $50 million in global ticket sales. Turns out people still love a good olโ€™ fashioned Spider-Man movie.

๐ŸŽฎ $GME GameStop dropped 12.25% after announcing plans to swap $1.4 billion of convertible debt for common stock. Translation: more shares coming, existing ones worth a little less, and shareholders didn't love the dilution.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ $EBAY eBay slipped 6.03% after a Wells Fargo downgrade, with analysts worried its Depop acquisition will drag on future earnings. Buying growth is easy. Making it pay off is the hard part.

๐Ÿจ $MAR Marriott lost 6.97% as soft profit guidance overshadowed an otherwise mixed quarter. The rooms are booked, but the outlook is what spooked investors.
