BREAKING NEWS

šŸ“‰ Dow Soars, Nasdaq Naps

The Dow showed up to Tuesday like it just popped a Viagra—up 400 points and full of energy. The Nasdaq? Down 0.82% after traders collectively ghosted tech harder than my wife ghosts my ā€œjust five more minutesā€ promise.

Why the divergence?
This was a classic sector rotation — traders dumped tech (Nvidia, Microsoft, etc.) and loaded up on health care names like UnitedHealth, Merck, and Johnson & Johnson.

Translation?
Wall Street’s moving from ā€œYOLOā€ to ā€œYOLO but with life insurance.ā€ Risk-off sentiment is creeping in, especially with Musk and Trump fighting and the Fed frozen.

Watch for:

  • Continued rotation into defensives

  • Volatility around upcoming inflation prints

  • Whether the Nasdaq bounce is actually dead… or just on mute

🄊 Trump Vs Elon Round 2

Tesla shares are down over 11% in just five days after Trump passed his ā€œBig, Beautifulā€ tax and spending bill. Musk hates it so much he’s talking about starting his own political party.

Here’s the beef:

  • Trump wants to torch green subsidies

  • Musk’s empire runs on green subsidies

  • The math ain’t mathing

Musk called Trump’s plan ā€œutterly insane and destructive,ā€ then casually floated launching his own political party—because when you’re already CEO of five companies, why not add ā€œSupreme Leaderā€ to the list?

What does Trump think of all this?

Not much—he’s too busy looking into whether he can deport Elon back to South Africa under a new executive order: No Billionaires With WiFi Privileges.

What it means:

  • TSLA volatility will remain spicy

  • EV sector might catch strays

  • Sentiment around big tech is fragile

Our take at Pip Munch?
At least someone is talking about the debt. We disagree on a lot of things, but ā€œ$3 trillion isn’t a lot of moneyā€ is not one of them.

So what do we do?

Buy Bitcoin. Always. (More on that below).

šŸ’µ Dollar Gets Mugged, Again

The U.S. dollar is officially down 10.7% in 2025 — and it’s only July. That’s what happens when you pass a mega-bill that adds $3.3T to the national debt while flirting with a tariff war.

The bill includes:

  • Tax cuts

  • Healthcare cuts

  • Green energy slashes

  • A projected $3.3T debt increase

Markets are reacting:

  • Dollar is dropping like it forgot to use a stop-loss

  • Traders are front-running the Fed being forced to cut (eventually)

  • Safe havens like BTC and gold are getting fresh bids

What to watch:

  • USD weakness = boost for risk assets (BTC, gold, oil)

  • Currency pairs like USD/JPY, EUR/USD may get spicy

  • Tariff drama could hit supply chains and commodities next

šŸ¤‘ Why We’re Obsessed With Bitcoin

Yesterday we said: ā€œReply ā€˜tell me more’ if you want to understand why we’re so bullish on Bitcoin.ā€

We got flooded. Like, wife-asks-who-you’re-texting-at-midnight levels of flooded.

So here’s the breakdown—no buzzwords, no headaches, just straight facts.

The Basics:

  • šŸŖ™ There will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin. That’s it. You can’t print more. Even if Jerome Powell cries.

  • 🧠 It’s decentralized. That means no government, bank, or wannabe dictator can freeze it, steal it, or shut it down.

Looking at you, Trudeau…

Why We’re Ultra Bullish:

  • šŸ’ø The U.S. dollar is down 10% this year. Why? Because politicians treat money like free samples at Costco—just keep handing it out.

Bitcoin? You can’t inflate it. It’s digital scarcity.

  • šŸ›‘ Concerned about censorship and overreach?
So are we. And while Zohran (yes, the NYC mayoral candidate who’s allergic to capitalism) is busy reinventing communism, Bitcoin is quietly building the rails for financial freedom.

Translation for Traders:

  • Fiat is melting. Inflation’s sticky.

  • Currency debasement = Risk-on for scarce assets.

  • Bitcoin is your hedge and your protest vote.

What’s Next?

Don’t chase the next candle. Stack slowly. Learn. Zoom out.

I (Matthew, Pip Munch founder and part-time husband when not chart-watching) don’t know where Bitcoin’s headed in the next 6-12 months—and neither does anyone honest.

But if you care about freedom, scarcity, and owning something that can’t be frozen because of your opinions… Bitcoin’s worth your time.

It changed my life. Might change yours too.

MARKET OVERVIEW

šŸæ Tasty Movers & Shakers

$F ( ā–¼ 2.61% ) Ford just floored it. Sales popped 14%, crushing estimates like a Camry in a demolition derby. It’s not just Ford, either—Kia and Hyundai are also up 8% and 10%, proving one thing: Americans will always find a way to finance something they can’t afford.

$AAPL ( ā–² 0.24% ) Apple is suing a former employee who allegedly swiped thousands of internal files before jumping ship to Snapchat. Which, if true, is basically like stealing the iPhone playbook and handing it to a disappearing dog filter. Apple’s notoriously secretive, so expect this to get messy—and very, very lawyered.

$UNH ( ā–¼ 2.95% ) Healthcare stocks got a shot in the arm yesterday as traders rotated out of tech and into something a little less… bipolar. UnitedHealth jumped 4%, a rare win in what’s been a brutal year. We’re not saying healthcare is sexy now—but it’s at least showing a pulse.

$NEE ( ā–¼ 0.45% ) Clean energy names ripped after Trump’s BBB deal scrapped a tax on solar and wind. NextEra jumped 5%, $AES ( ā–² 4.45% ) climbed 2%, and suddenly green energy investors are acting like Greta Thunberg just got elected Fed Chair.
